Powder Coating

Powder coating is a type of protective or cosmetic layer that is applied as a free flowing, dry powder.  Unlike conventional liquid paint, powder coating is applied electrostatically and then cured under heat.  It is usually used to create a hard finish that is considerably tougher than conventional paints and sealants.  Powder coating is generally used to cover metals, but has other applications spanning numerous markets, including but not limited to:

Industrial Equipment: Environments and machinery that require additional durability for application as well as visual appeal benefit tremendously from powder coating.  Custom machines, metal cabinets, circuitry enclosures, control clusters, textile machinery, woodworking machinery, paper and printing industries, and food production all benefit from powder coating technology.

Automotive: Powder coating is commonly known to be used on cars, trucks, bumpers, door handles, suspension systems, and many other transportation materials.

General and Functional: Playground equipment, metal wagons, wheelchairs, vending machines, gas pumps, garden tools, and more are just some of the items in this category that can be powder coated to protect their look and feel.
